Ryan Gear (b.1998) is a British photographer currently living and working in Australia. Ryan’s photographic practice is centred on the idea of observation, both of the external world as it unfolds and the internal world with its many shades and hues, his work generally emerging out of this juncture of image making and inner, human experience. Ryan is interested in the use of photography as a tool for exploring and expressing our human condition; as a means for communicating our experience as beings belonging to a world as much within as without.
